Speak Up Therapy, LLC was founded by speech-language pathologist Jenna Smith, alongside Heather Ezell, a partner speech-language pathologist who shares her passion for helping children become confident, empowered communicators. With over 28 years of combined pediatric experience in both educational and healthcare settings, Jenna and Heather bring expertise in speech sound disorders (including childhood apraxia of speech), language development, fluency, voice, AAC, executive functioning, early literacy, and more. Their approach is child-centered and family-focused, grounded in the belief that every child deserves a voice—whether through spoken language or alternative communication methods. They believe that authentic connection between therapist and child is the foundation for meaningful progress, and that collaboration with caregivers through coaching and support is essential to success. Above all, they are driven by the joy of watching confidence grow in the children they serve—there’s truly nothing like it.
